Latest GIMP for Ubuntu

If you are interested in keeping up-to-date with GIMP (the GNU Image Manipulation Program) on your Ubuntu install, look no further than the otto-kesselgulasch/gimp PPA (Personal Package Archive)

Process:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gimp
One command at a time, or add a double ampersand (&&) between each item and concatenate it onto one line.

I find GIMP to be a good professional style image manipulation program, however, it doesn't beat simple tools like IRFanView for simple resize/cropping activities. I found this PPA useful, so just posting for others.
